A 44 YEAR-OLD woman was shot while sleeping at home in barangay Bae, Sibonga town, southern on Friday night.

Miguela Simbereno Clarion was rushed to a hospital in Cebu City with a gunshot wound in the back.

Police said the woman and her children were asleep when an unidentified gunman barged in and shot her.

PO2 Ederlino Bacusmo of the Sibonga police said investigation is ongoing.
