A MAN was charged with robbery with violence before the City Prosecutor’s Office.

Romel Dipaz allegedly stabbed and robbed Maryneth de Guzman, 19, while on her way home in Barrio Obrero in Davao City.

In an affidavit, the victim said she was on board a “trisikad” when attacked by another passenger, later identified as the suspect.

She was stabbed twice and her Apple iPhone worth P25,000 was grabbed.

She was able to call for help as a security guard in the vicinity pursued the suspect.

Prosecutor Velasco recommended a bail bond of P100,000 for the accused’s temporary release.
