A woman was killed while her husband was wounded Wednesday night in another gun attack believed to be part of the running feud between two groups in the Talon-Talon-Mampang-Arena Blanco area.
Killed was Hulma Camlian y Musa, 35, and wounded was her husband Kasim Camlian y Jaujali, 34.
Hulma sustained bullet wounds in the chest and abdomen and died on the spot. Kasim was shot in the chest with the bullet exiting on the right shoulder. He was taken to the Zamboanga City Medical Center.
A police report disclosed that the couple were on their way home around 9 p.m. aboard a Lifan motorcycle driven by Kasim when two men appeared and shot them repeatedly at Luciano Drive, Mampang.
The gunmen hastily left the place aboard a motorcycle.
Residents told the police that the gunmen were unknown to them and it was the first time they saw them in the area.
The body was of the slain woman was retrieved by relatives for burial services in Islam rite.
City Police Director Sr. Supt. Edwin Deocampo ordered his men to run after the killers.
