A LADY witness to a crime of murder was silenced by the accused who shot her dead inside her house in Tondo, Manila, at past midnight yesterday.   

Unfortunately for the suspect, a certain ‘Ruel’, he was identified by victim Elena Miranda, 45, of  Block 5, Old Site, Baseco Compound in Tondo, as the one who had shot her in the face and neck, before she breathed her last.

A probe made by SPO3 Rodelio Lingcong of the Manila Police District-Homicide Section showed the incident took place at around 1 a.m. inside the victim’s house.

The suspect reportedly barged into the victim’s house while the latter was sleeping.

Before dying, she told her eldest, 12-year-old Alexander, that it was ‘Ruel’ who shot her.
