AMADEO, Cavite — A woman worried over her husband’s failure to return home decided to look for him in the middle of the night but ended up being raped by two men before dawn Monday.

Sandy, not her real name, 28, a resident of this town filed a complaint before the local police against suspects, Charlie Bachao alias “Tali, 40,” of Payapa Subd., Bgy. Galicia 3, Mendez, and Nino Alilay alias “Nonoy,” 27, of Bgy. Cabuco, Trece Martires City for allegedly raping her.

The suspects were arrested in a follow-up operation.

The victim told the police that she got anxious when her husband failed to show up after midnight last Sunday. She decided to look for him when she met the suspects in Bgy. Bucal.

Sandy said the suspects dragged her to a dark portion of the road where they raped her.
