TWO men shot dead a barangay watchman inside his outpost before dawn Thursday in Quezon City.
The victim, identified as Agapito Alorong, 48, was killed inside an outpost in Bgy. Holy Spirit. He sustained three gunshot wounds to the head.
Witnesses told PO2 Rhic Pittong that two assailants, who covered their faces with towels, slapped Alorong in the face before shooting him at 1:05 a.m. at an outpost on St. Anthony St.
A fellow barangay watchman, Terry Magno, was busy writing down an entry in the dispatch book inside the office when he suddenly heard gunshots.
He rushed outside to check but he was met by one of the assailants and threatened him, “Huwag kang gagalaw, babarilin kita.”
The two armed men ran away after which Magno went to the outpost makeshift kitchen and saw Alorong dead.
Recovered at the scene were four spent shells and a slug for 9mm pistol.
