2 killed in payroll heist in Laguna

MANILA, Philippines – Two employees of the CNG bus company were shot dead inside their vehicle along Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay Road , Barangay Sto. Domingo, Sta. Rosa City, Laguna on Saturday.
Investigations showed that the victims, Diosdado Panganiban and Roberto Cabatay, were carrying the company’s payroll amounting to P245,000 when they were killed.
Both victims sustained gunshot wounds in the head.
The suspects, who remain unidentified, took the money with them.
Police said the victims’ bodies were found inside a parked white Toyota Hi-Ace van with the engine still running.
Bullet holes were seen on the vehicle’s windshield, said police.
