notorious ‘Commando Gang,’ was stabbed dead by a drunk security guard while he was walking toward a store in Sta. Cruz, Manila the other night.  

Michael Baylon, of 1606 Quiricada St., also in Sta. Cruz, was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital due to six stab wounds in the body. The suspect, identified only through his alias as ‘Dominador Kidlat’, said to be a resident in the area and between 50 and 55 years old, escaped and is now in hiding.  

SPO3 Glenzor Vallejo of the Manila Police District-Homicide Section, said the victim had just finished having dinner when he decided to step out of the house to buy cigarettes at a nearby store at 10:15 p.m.                                              

The suspect reportedly emerged from nowhere and then stabbed the victim repeatedly for still unknown reasons.

The victim’s mother Loida saw the whole incident and shouted for help, to which barangay authoritites in the area responded. By then though, the suspect has already fled. 

The victim was rushed to the hospital to no avail.   

Meanwhile, other witnesses told the police the suspect was drunk when the incident happened.
