A TRICYCLE driver was shot dead by an unidentified assailant in barangay Duljo-Fatima, Cebu City .
Police are looking into illegal drugs connections in the killing of Teofilo “Lawa” Molina, 34.
Molina was jailed in 2003 for drug charges.
Police recovered a rolled tinfoil and a P100 bill from Molina’s pocket. An empty shell and a deformed slug of a .45 caliber pistol were found in the crime scene.
Police said the victim was found slumped on the ground Wednesday night with gunshot wounds in the head and back./Correspondent Tweeny M. Malinao
