A tricycle driver was wounded after he was stabbed by a fellow driver while attending a Christmas party in barangay Gun-ob, Lapu-Lapu City, Tuesday night.
Oliver Ycong, 32, married, was wounded in his left cheek.
Initial investigation revealed that Ycong was having a drinking spree with fellow members of the Mactan Island Drivers’ Association during its Christmas party.
In the middle of the drinking session, Ycong had a heated argument with Erwin Pepito.
Pepito then stabbed Ycong in the left cheek.
The suspect fled after the incident.
The victim is now recovering in the Lapu-Lapu District Hospital.
