A TRICYCLE driver who doubles as a drug trafficker, and his female cohort were arrested by agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in an entrapment operation in Cavite last Friday which resulted in the seizure of some P50,000 worth of shabu.
PDEA chair Undersecretary Arturo Cacdac, Jr. identified the suspects as Alex Abogadie alias “Lex,” 34, of Pasong Santol, Bgy. Anabu II-E, Imus City, Cavite, and Nelivia David alias “Joan,” 42, a resident of Blk 2, Loth 4, Vallejo Place, Bgy. Pasong Buaya II also in Imus City.
Abogadie and David were arrested 9:30 a.m. last Friday by members of the PDEA Regional Office 4-A under Director Adzhar Albani after they conspired to sell one plastic packet containing around 10 grams of shabu to a poseur.
The suspects are now facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Cacdac said a separate case for violation of Presidential Decree 1829 (Obstruction of Justice), will be filed in court against Abogadie who attempted to prevent the operatives from arresting David. Alfred Dalizon
