Trader killed while carrying his child

A businessman was was shot dead last night while he was carrying his two-year-old child outside his store on Rizal Street, barangay Poblacion I, Carcar City.
Eric Ureca, 34, suffered two gunshot wounds in the head.
The suspects were later arrested in Poblacion I during a hot pursuit operation.
Lupe Gicale, Jr., 24 and Ronilo Montalla, 31 were allegedly members of a group of guns-for-hire based in Carcar, said Senior Supt. Erson Digal, Cebu provincial police director.
Police said Ureca was sitting outside his store that sells motor parts.
He was carrying his two-year-old child around 6:30 p.m. when the two suspects arrived on board a motorcycle.
Montalla disembarked and pretended to be a customer.
When Ureca looked away, Montalla allegedly shot him in the head.
The victim fell on the floor. A salesman took the child while the suspects fled, heading south on board the motorcycle which had no plate number.
The motorbike was found abandoned about 100 meters from the store. The suspects abandoned it because it conked out.
Two empty shells of a .45 caliber gun were found in the crime scene.
