TWO rich-looking, flawless suspects robbed a busineswoman of P5,000, death and burial certificates of a relative and other valuables Saturday in Caloocan City.
Josephine de Guzman, of 37 Francisco St., Pritil, Tondo, Manila, said she had just brought food from a popular bakeshop for the wake of her relative and was waiting for a friend along Sangandaan, Caloocan City, at 8 p.m. when the suspects approached her.
One of the suspects pulled off his firearm, poked it at the victim and grabbed her shoulder bag containing two cellular phones, her relative’s death certificate, burial contract with a funeral parlor, identification cards and P5,000.
Terrified that something bad might happen to her, De Guzman was forced to yield her bag to the suspects whom she described as decent-looking.
“Kahit marami silang tatoo sa katawan, mukha naman silang mayayaman dahil makikinis ang kanilang mga balat at magaganda ang kanilang mga suot,” she said.
