ISULAN, SULTAN KUDARAT — Two youngsters were shot by two gunman at about 1:20 o’clock early dawn of Sunday here at Purok 7 Barangay Bual.

The victims are identified by responding police as Edmund Prado y Canlas, 21 years old who sustained gunshot wound on his face, nose and mouth and Renan Canlas, 20 years old who sustained minor injury from a bullet on his left shoulder.

The victims are all residents of Kalawag 2 also of this town.

Reports reached this paper claims the victims were from a disco at Barangay Bual and on their way home, two suspects block their way and shoot them.

Residents says that due to the timely arrival of the PNP on the crime scene, both suspects were apprehended and were detained at the Isulan PNP Jail wqiting for the filling of appropriate charges in court.

The victims are now recuperating at the Sultan Kudarat Provincial Hospital.
