CAMP Olivas, Pampanga – Police are looking into the mysterious death of a 16-year-old girl who was found Tuesday in Barangay San Ildefonso, Magalang town.

Provincial police director Senior Supt. Petronio Retirado said police investigators are collating evidence to find the suspects.

Probers are also looking if the victim, Recsan Loneza Toledo, was raped before she was killed. The half-naked victim bore a head injury and several contusions in the body when found in a ricefield on Sto. Niño Balicutan Road by farmers who reported it to the police.

Retirado said the victim, a senior student at Magalang National High School, is believed to have been gangraped. On Wednesday, police invited for questioning two minors and a 23-year-old man to shed light on the case.

“We are now in the middle of our investigation and in due time we could establish the identities of the suspects,” he said.
