MANILA, Philippines — A teenage boy was kidnapped in Santo Rosario, Iligan City early morning on Wednesday, police said.

Initial investigation showed that 17-year-old Mohammad Nur Macabangkit and his 31-year-old brother Basari were on their way home when four men suddenly blocked their vehicle.

Mohammad Nur was abducted while Basari was able to flee.

Basari said the men opened fire but failed to hit him.

The suspects, who were wearing masks, also took the victims’ car.
