AN 18-YEAR-OLD man was stabbed and wounded by the brother of his girlfriend in barangay Ticayan, Bantayan town, northern Cebu.
Ramil Poster was wounded in the chest.
Poster and his girlfriend Carmelyn Fernandez went to a plaza past midnight on Wednesday.
The couple were about to go home on board a motorcycle when the suspect Jerecho Fernandez arrived and attacked the victim.
Jerecho fled after the incident.
Poster ran to a police station to report the stabbing. He was later brought to a hospital.
Personal grudges could be the motive behind the attack since the suspect was against the relationship between his sister and the victim, said police./CORRESPONDENT GABRIEL C. BONJOC
