Police have forwarded to the City Prosecutor Office charges against the attackers.

A police report disclosed that Rizzamae Jacobe y Yarot, 13, and her mother Marlyn Jacobe were inside their house around 7 p.m. when Rosalie Guevarra armed with a knife and her husband Alex arrived and harassed them.

Police said that Rosalie attacked Rizzamae with her knife wounding her on both hands while Alex mauled Marlyn, who sustained bruises in her body.

The mother and daughter were taken to the Western Mindanao Medical Center for treatment.

The attackers were arrested during a follow-up operation and were detained at the City Police Office.

It was not known why the Guevarra attacked the mother and daughter.
