At least P400,000 worth of jewelry was taken by a burglar from the house of a 49-year-old woman in Upper Mohon, Talisay City, around 10 p.m. on Sunday.

Rosavilla Lomocso Bustamante reported the robbery after discovering the loss.

PO3 Jundave David and PO2 Henry Mata of Talisay City said the suspect entered the house by destroying the window.

David said that the victim and her daughter left the house to Mass around 4 p.m. When they returned home, the house was in disarray and the jewelry missing. /GABRIEL BONJOC
