A Swedish national, who was taking breakfast in a coffee shop in Pasig City yesterday, lost valuables after unidentified suspect grabbed his bag. Raja Olitia, 60, Swedish national who is presently residing at Apartment 2905, Malayan Plaza, ADB Ave., Ortigas Center, filed a complaint before the Eastern Police District-Criminal Investigation Unit (EPD-CIU). Olitia told police he was taking his breakfast at 11:30 a.m. at Coffee Bean Shop on Emerald Avenue, Ortigas Center and placed her black bag containing his Vio laptop on a vacant chair. Minutes later, an unidentified man entered the establishment and immediately grabbed his bag. He run after the suspect but it was too late. The Swedish national reported the incident to the management of the coffee shop. The management of the establishment reviewed the closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera footages where the unidentified suspect was captured taking the Swede’s bag. Arlene Rivera
