The brutalized body of a suspected summary execution victim was found in Rodriguez town in Rizal province early Tuesday.

Police said residents found the body along the Zigzag Road in Barangay San Jose, radio dzBB’s Glen Juego reported.

Citing initial reports reaching them, the Rodriguez police’s tactical operations unit said the victim had a length of nylon cord wrapped around his neck, and two gunshot wounds in the cheek.

The victim was described as wearing a T-shirt and shorts, and was barefoot.

He was about 28 to 33 years old, medium-built, brown-complexioned, and short-haired.

Residents discovered the body at about 5 a.m. but did none of them saw the victim killed at the spot nor saw the body being dumped there. — DVM, GMA News
