On or about 7:00 in the evening of October 15, 2013, at Purok Sais, Barangay Buloron, Midsalip, Zamboanga del Sur, stabbing incident transpired thereat, wherein, one Victor Mendoza y Limutan @ Patok, 24 years old, single, famer and a resident of the said place, stabbed by Jimmy Torres @ Jimmy, 34 years old, married, also farmer and a resident of Purok Tres, Barangay Lumangoy, Sominot, Zamboanga del Sur with the use of hunting knife.
Victim sustained stab wound on his abdomen and left and right forearms was rushed to Midsalip Infirmary Hospital for medical treatment, while suspect immediately escaped and fled towards unknown direction.
Investigation conducted disclosed that prior to the incident, victim was watching television show at the nearby store, when suspect surfaced, then stabbed the victim without apparent reason.
Police believed that the motive of the incident was due to personal grudge.
Manhunt operation will be launched for the arrest of the suspect, while appropriate charges will be filed in court.
