A SPIDER vendor was critically wounded after he was shot by a fellow vendor in barangay Poblacion Ward I, Minglanilla town, southern Cebu yesterday.

Jenero Aying Cabarrubias, 40, of barangay Basak Pardo, sustained a gunshot wound in the torso.

Police said the gunman, who was not identified, fled after the shooting.

Cabarrubias and another man were selling spiders outside the Minglanilla Elementary School about 9 a.m.

Police said the two vendors were attending to their customers when they argued over the prices of their spiders.

The argument ended in the shooting of Cabbarubias.

The victim was rushed to the Minglanilla District Hospital./CORRESPONDENT GABRIEL C. BONJOC
