A 30-YEAR-OLD man was charged in court after he allegedly tried to stab his mother.

Attempted parricide charges were filed against George Caayon, a resident of barangay Capitol Site, Cebu City, after he allegedly threatened his mother Necitas in their house on Thursday.

Bail was recommended at P84,000.

Necitas, 54, said she was cooking in the kitchen when George allegedly placed three eggs on a pot.

She admonished the accused not to place the eggs into the pot without washing them first.

George allegedly got irked, got a knife and told his mother: “Maka-ihaw na gyud ko og tawo. (Finally, I will be able to slaughter someone).
