A MAN hacked an unknowing victim on his back using a samurai on Wednesday on Lamayan Street, Sta. Ana, Manila. Rolando “Bunso” Annuevo hacked the back of Reynaldo Santos, 46, using a samurai, the police said. Annuevo was accompanied by an unidentified gunman. Santos said he was in the area buying ice when he heard successive gunshots, which he later found to have been targeted at his nephew, Jefrey Laurente, 24. Laurente was hit on his torso. Santos was then attacked by Annuevo. Annuevo and the gunman then boarded a motorcycle and fled. The police recovered six spent shells of a firearm of unknown caliber and a samurai measuring around 24 inches from the scene. The victims are recuperating at the Sta. Ana Hospital and at the Ospital ng Maynila. Jaymee Gamil
