A 25-year-old man tagged by the police as a notorious snatcher was shot dead not by authorities but by his arch enemy yesterday morning in Quiapo, Manila.                            

Deomavic Lagrimas, a member of the ‘Batang City Jail Gang’ and resident of Basan Street in Quiapo, Manila, died instantly while the suspect, who remains unknown, fled aboard a motorcycle.            

SPO2 Jonathan Bautista of the Manila Police District-Homicide Section said the incident took place in front of a Chinese restaurant in Quiapo, Manila at around 10 a.m.                                                                                                         

Before the shooting incident, witnesses said the suspect and the victim were seen having an argument until the victim deciced to leave. The suspect then boarded his motorcycle and followed the victim.   

Moments later, the suspect kicked the victim and then shot him dead before speeding away.       

Meanwhile, police said the victim had just gone out of jail last November, after having been incarcerated for robbery.
