BAGUIO CITY, Philippines – Two teenage girls and their 60-year-old grandmother were found dead with multiple stab wounds here Monday night, marring the local celebration of International Women’s Day.

Probers suspect that the victims – a 17-year-old first-year college student and her sister, a 15-year-old high school junior, both at the St. Louis University, and their grandma – were sexually molested, although crime scene experts were still looking for evidence.

The younger sister was found half-naked with her torn underwear lowered to her feet.

Police found no signs of robbery or forced entry in the apartment of the victims, who hailed from Bangued, Abra.

A 23-year-old relative of the victims sought police help after he called them and got no reply. He eventually went up to the fourth floor of the apartment and was met by the victims’ housemaid.

The two forcibly opened the locked door of the victims’ room and were shocked to find them stabbed dead.

Meanwhile, the decomposing body of a woman with a fractured skull and broken teeth was found stuffed in a traveling bag in a grassy area in Molino 4, Cavite yesterday morning.

Senior Superintendent Primitivo Tabujara, Cavite police director, described the woman to be about 32 years old with long hair and slim build and wearing denim pants and black sweatshirt.
