Policemen in Vitali have forwarded a case of frustrated murder against a man who slashed the neck of a seven-year-old boy the other day.
City Police Director Sr. Supt. Edwin Deocampo identified the suspect as Allan Dela Peña.
Deocampo said that Dela Peña was arrested during a follow-up operation and was detained at the Vitali Police Station under Chief Insp. Domingo Arguilla.
Dela Peña slashed the neck of Jutio Itol y Pateres, of Sitio Camp Uno, Vitali.
The boy was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
After questioning, police took Dela Peña to the City Prosecutor Office for inquest.
