A family of Chinese traders lost some P.6 million to a minimum of eight armed suspects who barged into their home in Paco, Manila and held them up yesterday morning.

A formal complaint was thus lodged before the Manila Police District (MPD)-Station 5 by victims Rowena Chua, 55; Marvin Chua, 32; Rhea Chua-Cabochan and Randolf Lim-Chua, all residents of 1620 Penafrancia  corner Sagat Streets in Paco.

The suspects, whom the victims said numbered between eight and 12 in all meanwhile, remain unidentified and managed to flee after the incident.

The victims told the police that at around 7 a.m., Randolf  parked his car in front of their home and was about to enter the house when the suspects, who all had firearms, emerged from nowhere and dragged him inside at gunpoint.

Once inside the house, the suspects hogtied everyone inside and then took all the valuables they could get their hands on.

When the suspects left, the victims helped untie one another and then went straight to the police to report the incident.
