A 38-YEAR-OLD man was seriously wounded after he was shot by his neighbor in barangay San Isidro, Talisay City, southern Cebu on Thursday night.

Fernando Gallego was walking home past 7 p.m. when he was shot repeatedly allegedly by Jose Yares, said police.

The victim sustained gunshot wounds in the body and in the head.

Yares fled after incident, while Gallego was rushed to a Cebu City hospital.

Police recovered a .38 Smith and Wesson revolver with five empty shells in the crime scene.
