A MASSEUR was shot dead while a man was critically wounded in separate shooting incidents in Cebu City and Consolacion town, northern Cebu on Friday night.

Randy Hiyas, 28, was shot in the chest by two motorcycle-riding gunmen in sitio Libo, barangay Tayud, Consolacion.

Police said Hiyas, and his friend, Ritchie Intera, 27, were walking to their boarding house when two men fired shots at them.

Hiyas and Intera were able to run abefore Hiyas fell on the ground and collapsed.

In the meantime, Romel Romero, 41, was shot and wounded by a lone gunman in barangay Mabolo, Cebu City.

Romero sustained gunshot wounds in the body. He was rushed to the Cebu Velez Hospital.

Romero was talking to his friends in an alley when a man shot him repeatedly.
