MANILA Philippines — A 57 year old school bus driver was gunned down before noon Wednesday in Quezon City.

 

Acoording to intial reports from the Quezon City Police Distirct Batasan station, two unidentified men on a motorcycle shot to death Rodrigo Diaz, an employee of the Creative Learning Center Educational Foundation, Inc., right in front of the preschoolon Sta. Catalina Street in Baranggay (village) Holy Spirit.

 

Police investigators said that around 11am Diaz was in his school bus, apparently waiting for classes to end so he could fetch some of the pupils when a motorcycle stopped in near his vehicle.

 

One of the men got off the motorcycle and unloaded the entire magazineof an automatic 9mm pistol on Diaz, who was hit in the head and body, in one burst.  The victim died instantly from his wounds while the gunman sped away.

 

Batasan station investigators recovered at least 15 bullet casings at the site of the shooting.
