A convenience store in front of a police station in Bacolod City was robbed by a motorcycle-riding gunman Friday morning.

Initial reports said a suspect pretended to buy cellphone load at a sari-sari store in Barangay Handumanan, right in front of Bacolod City Police Station 10.

Store owner May Vargas sid she was carrying her 2-month-old baby when the man poked a gun at her and threatened to shoot the baby if she did not give up her money.

She said she gave the money for fear that the robber would shoot the child.

The suspect then boarded a motorcycle, which was driven by another suspect.

Police officers in Bacolod City are now searching for the robbers.
