ROBBERS riding tandem on a motorcycle shot a technician in Pasig City on Monday after he refused to give them a bag which contained P140,000 in payroll money. Nilo Leal, 53, an employee of PECC Construction and Industrial Corp., had just withdrawn the money from the bank and was returning to the office when two men on a motorcycle without license plates blocked his path at around 11:50 a.m. in Barangay Santolan. PO2 Eduardo Pablo, Pasig police investigator, said the robbers shot the victim in the left leg when he refused to give them the money. The thieves then grabbed the bag with the money and fled.
