MANILA, Philippines — Gunmen held up the Western Union Money Transfer branch in Paranaque City Tuesday and traded fire with responding policemen as they fled.

Initial reports from Paranaque police said the suspects struck the Western Union branch on Dr. A. Santos Avenue in Sucat.

No other details were immediately available.
