A security guard was wounded when four unidentified armed suspects robbed a branch of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation’s (Pagcor) e-Games in Quezon City and stole P100,000 in earnings from the establishment Tuesday night.
Hernando Bacani was manning the Pagcor e-Games outlet on Congressional Avenue when he noticed four suspicious-looking men outside the building.
“Nagtataka ako kung bakit walang plate number ’yung motor nila at nakadikit sa Mercedes Benz ’yung dalawa,” said Bacani.
The security guard approached the group, but was immediately disarmed.
The suspects hit Bacani on the head with his own gun after the weapon jammed when they tried to shoot the guard.
“Tinali ko ’yung damit sa ulo niya kasi po duguan siya,” janitor Efren Rafols said.
Two of the suspects went up to the second floor of the establishment while the others served as lookouts.
