Police identified the fatality as Hadja Kim Hong Tan, widow. She sustained multiple stab wounds in the different parts of the body.

Police said that before Tan was discovered dead, neighbors saw her arrived home from a local bank.

Police said that Tan could have withdrawn money from the bank and was robbed and killed by robbers while she was at her residence.

Tan’s body was discovered around 8 a.m. She was already in a state of rigor mortis with stab wounds in the left breast.

Police said the body was taken to a clinic for post mortem examination.

The Vitali police were still investigating the case.

The body of a rubout victim was discovered around 7 a.m., by some residents who reported it to the Sta. Maria Police Station for investigation.

The victim sustained multiple stab wounds in the different of parts of the body and a gunshot in the head.

The victim’s throat was slashed, an investigator said.

Ocular investigation showed that the victim’s face was wrapped with packing tape and was hogtied.

Police described the victim as 5’4” tall, with a medium built, fair complexion and sporting close cropped hair and wearing violet T-shirt and shorts.

Police theorized that the victim was killed elsewhere and his body was dumped in the interior portion of San Roque Chinese Cemetery before sunrise yesterday. The body was brought to the Villa Funeral Parlor for post mortem examination.
