A security guard was shot dead by two men who staged a robbery in a money transfer outlet Saturday morning in Parañaque City.
Killed from multiple gunshot wounds in the body was Felipe Montilla, detailed at Western Union Money Transfer on Lopez St., Bgy. San Isidro.
A sketchy report by Parañaque City police said the incident happened past 8 a.m. after two motorcycle-riding men armed with an unknown caliber of a handgun entered the money transfer branch and declared the heist.
Montilla tried to prevent the perpetrators from entering the establishment but he was shot by one of them.
“Nang walang makitang pera sa drawer, tinangay ng mga suspek ang vault sa pag-aakalang may laman itong salapi pero ayon sa manager ng money transfer, wala pang laman ang kanilang vault,” police said.
