TAGAYTAY City — The leader of the “Batibot Robbery Gang” was apprehended after he tried to rob a seminary last Saturday morning here.

Joven Sumagui Batibot, 33, of Bgy. Talaba IV, Bacoor City, Cavite, was arrested before he could rob the St. Charles Borromeo of Ulat Road, Bgy. Francisco, Tagaytay City.

Officer-on-case SP01 Roel G. Paiton and P02 Semdan V. Sitchon said the suspect climbed the terrace of the convent and was about to open one of the rooms when he was accosted by the duty security guard.

The suspect was turned over to policemen in Tagaytay.
