MANILA, Feb. 19 -– The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) on Friday morning launched a manhunt against the attackers of two persons in two separate incidents in Quezon City.
Victims were a Filipino-Chinese businessman in a restaurant in Kamuning and a mall manager in Cubao, Quezon City.
Initial investigation by the QCPD-Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit (CIDU), victim Jose Chua was boarding his sports utility vehicle (SUV) in front of the Dolcinea Restaurant on Tomas Morato Avenue at around 4 a.m. Friday. He was shot near the head.
Chua was rushed to the St. Luke’s Medical Center (SLMC) on E. Rodriguez Sr. Avenue, New Manila, Quezon City.
Meanwhile, QCPD-CIDU said Farmer’s Plaza Mall manager Roque Sendim, 37, of Boston St. Barangay Kaunlaran, Cubao Quezon City was shot late Thursday night. He was also rushed to SLMC after sustaining gun shot wound in the body.
QCPD-CIDU said Sendim had a heated argument with one of his workmates inside the Farmer’s Plaza Mall on EDSA, Cubao, Quezon City. QCPD operatives are hunting down the suspect. (PNA) FFC/JCA
