A 23-year-old promodiser was killed after he was stabbed by his neighbor over an alleged old grudge in Pandacan, Manila.
The victim was identified as Fer John Ocampo, 23, a former promodiser of Gardenia bread and a resident of 1864 Obesis St., Pandacan. He died from a stab wound on his back while being treated at the Ospital ng Maynila. Police are now conducting a manhunt operation against the victim’s neighbor, Kenjie Quitoviera, 22, of 1879 Obesis St., Pandacan, who escaped after the stabbing. Case officer, PO2 Lester Evangelista, of the Manila Police District Homicide Section said, the crime happened at 5:45 p.m. the other day in front of a barangay hall of Bgy. 845, Zone 92, Obesis St., Pandacan. Reports said, Ocampo was standing outside the barangay hall waiting for a relative when Quitoviera suddenly sneaked behind the victim and stabbed him on the back using a fan knife once before fleeing. Ocampo died at the hospital five hours later after undergoing treatment. It was later learned that Ocampo and Quitoviera had a long standing grudge and refused to resolve their differences. |
