The body of a woman was found in Trece Martires City in Cavite province early Friday morning.

City police head Superintendent Rommel Estolano said the body was found at 6:30 a.m. in Barangay de Ocampo, radio dzBB’s Sam Nielsen reported.

Estolano was quoted in the report as saying they are still gathering leads on who could have killed the woman, and if she was dumped in the area after being killed elsewhere.

An initial investigation showed the woman wore a blue-and-green blouse, and bore strangulation marks in the neck and bruises in the forehead.

She was described as medium-built, 5’0″ tall, and between 45 and 55 years old. — LBG, GMA News
