BUTUAN CITY – Joint operatives of the Agusan del Sur Criminal Investigation and Detection Team and Rosario Police arrested a security guard during an entrapment operation, 4 p.m. Saturday in Barangay Sta. Cruz, Rosario, Agusan del Sur.

Reports from Agusan del Sur Police Provincial Office reaching the police regional headquarters identified the suspect as Romel V. Cambo, 31, a resident of Barangay San Isidro, San Francisco town, Agusan del Sur, and a member of the Black Fighter Security Agency. Cambo was arrested according to the same report in the act of selling a firearm to a police poseur-buyer.

Taken from the suspect’s possession during his arrest was a Colt 1911A1 Caliber .45 pistol, Colt Mk IV Caliber .45 pistol, Colt Automatic Caliber .45 pistol, CZ 858 Tactical 4 AK-47 Rifle with 29 live ammunition, and a powder-dusted P1,000 bill.

The suspect and the confiscated firearms are now in the custody of Agusan del Sur CIDT. Appropriate charges are now being prepared against him.
