Police hunting down 5 suspects in stab incident
Police are now hunting down five men who allegedly stabbed to death a construction worker Saturday night in Parañaque City.
Police identified the victim as Rolando Marcelo,43, of 8067 Pelaez St., Bgy. San Dionisio, Parañaque City. He suffered multiple stab wounds on various parts of the body and died while undergoing treatment at the Florencio Bernabe Sr. Memorial Hospital.
The suspects were identified as Jhon Jhon Tomas, Victor Ferrer, Santao Macar, Christopher Ferrer and Manuel Tomas, all residents of Vitalez St., Barangay San Dionisio.
Investigation showed the incident happened at:15 p.m. on Jaena St., Parañaque City.
It was learned that prior to the incident, the suspects who were having a drinking session blocked the victim’s path who was on board his bicycle on his way home.
Suspect Tomas allegedly challenged Marcelo into a fistfight but was ignored that prompted the former to hit the victim on the face.
Police said that Marcelo who was hurt went home immediately and asked his relatives and friends assistance to get back against the suspects.
Marcelo, along with others, went back to the place but found out to their surprise that the suspects were allegedly armed with fan knife, baseball bat and a lead pipe.
Marcelo was reportedly cornered by the suspects who allegedly stabbed and hit him on different parts of his body, resulting in his death.
