A PEDICAB driver was shot and then stabbed dead the other night in Tondo, Manila by a still unknown suspect for unclear reasons. Jason Tulabin, 29, of Building 3 Temporary Housing in Tondo, died while being treated at the Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center where he was rushed by a concerned neighbor after the incident. The suspect, said to be a certain ‘Fredo’, is now being hunted down by the police. SPO1 Richard Escarlan of the Manila Police District-Homicide Section said that at around 6 p.m., the victim was near his home when residents heard successive gunshots. When they checked out what happened, they saw the victim’s body lying in a pool of blood. Stab wounds and gunshot wounds were found on his body. Police, meanwhile, are facing a blank wall since the residents have refused to talk about the matter.
