A utility boy assigned at the ‘Park and Ride’, a parking facility, was shot dead and hacked in the head the other night in Intramuros, Manila.  

Alvin Cotcheza, 24, of Bgy. 649, Zone 68, Baseco Compound, Tondo, Manila, was killed at around 12:15 a.m. in front of the Intramuros Golf Course.

SPO3 Rodelio Lingcong of the Manila Police District homicide section said that the victim was aboard a tricycle on his way home when two men riding a motorcycle stopped beside the tricycle.

One of the suspects shot him in the head without any warning while the other hacked him in the head before they both fled on board their motorcycle.

An investigation is underway to determine the motive for the killing and the identities of the suspects.
