Victim Danilo Villonas, of 1858 Oro B St. in Sta. Ana, died due to a stab wound in the body.    

Luckily, through a text message sent to the police by a concerned citizen, the suspect, identified as Raymond Perdes, alias ‘Baliw’, 20, also a Sta. Ana resident, was arrested.       

SPO2  Milbert Balinggan, of the Manila Police District-Homicide Section, said the incident took place at 11:45 p.m. last Nov. 30.

The victim was reportedly walking home after getting his week’s pay when, upon reaching the corner of Oro B and Sagrada Pamilya Streets, the suspect held him up at knifepoint.  

When the victim tried to fight the suspect, he was stabbed in different parts of the body until he fell to the ground lifeless.

He was rushed to the nearest hospital by concerned residents to no avail.

Meanwhile, the suspect denied having held up the victim and said he merely got back at him since they had a running feud.
