MANILA – An estimated P300,000 cash was stolen from a convent in Cubao, Quezon City Tuesday afternoon.
Authorities said 5 unidentified suspects broke into the Missionary Sister Servants of the Holy Spirit along Poinsettia Road, E. Rodriguez Sr. at around 3 p.m.
Initial investigation by the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Station 10 showed that the suspects were armed and wearing sunglasses.
The armed men went directly to the head office and took with them the cash salaries of about 30 employees.
