IS the Korean song “Nobody” slowly replacing “My Way” as the so-called “killer song” in the country?
This after a 32-year-old man was stabbed dead by a group of men inside a videoke joint in Ermita, Manila Monday night.
The suspects reportedly got irritated by Michael Viray and his friend’s rendition of “Nobody” inside the Benson Place videoke bar.
Viray, 32, of Phase 30, Lot 6, Dasmariñas, Cavite, was declared dead on arrival at the Manila Doctor’s Hospital due to stab wounds in the mouth and neck.
PO3 Jay Santos said Viray and his friends were singing in chorus which irritated the suspect’s group and asked them to stop, triggering an argument.
Bar employees intervened and urged the suspect’s group to leave while allowing Viray and his friends to stay.
Viray reportedly insisted on settling the matter amicably and approached the group. However, the suspects stabbed him.
Last year, a 28-year-old electrician was killed because he was not familiar with the song “Nobody.”
