MANILA — A money-changer owner was shot dead by a motorcycle-riding gunman in Cagayan de Oro City Friday morning.
Initial investigation showed that the victim, identified as Raul Tan, was about to get off a taxi when the gunman suddenly approached him and fired shots.
Tan sustained a gunshot wound in the chest, which caused his death.
The driver of the taxi, Mark Ursabia, was also injured.
Police are looking into robbery as the motive behind the shooting.
Authorities have yet to determine the amount of cash stolen from Tan.
